Having a Baby makes you crazy...

.....how crazy? Crazier than just babbling baby talk. I realized ultimate insanity today when i heard the Barney theme song as i passed the Children's Area ( at MDA). I had this uncomfortable realization that i like it!


When i first had tread, i said i wouldnt let him watch Barney because i couldn't stand it. I used to revel in HATING Barney. I guess its because my friend's little bro watched it when we were in HIgh School, and its an easy target to make fun of. I remember hearing about Barneys getting beat up, or having stuff getting thrown at them when doing public appearances ..then thinking it'd be hilarious to do that. Those poor schleps.


I also think the song got stuck in my head ad nauseum and i grew to hate it. (catchy jingles get caught in my head often...no matter how hard i try to get them out)

This time, hearing it made my heart go pitter-patter. If someone had told me years ago that i'd actually LIKE that song, i'd laugh in their face...but its true. I can imagine hearing Tready's little voice, barely hitting the notes, but getting every word right:

"I love you.
You love me.
We're a happy family.
With a great big hug
and a kiss from me to you...
won't you say you love me too?"

It's ok, folks.....Moan if you don't have kids. i sure would have.
