Reflections

That's a big word for an almost-3-yr-old, but my kid mastered it last week while accompanying me down the hallways of MDA. The floors are really shiny and there are square lights every few feet on the ceiling. I didn't even notice the floors until tready said something about "See the squares" and tried to jump on them. I noticed them today and thought of him, and how cute his attempt at saying "reflections" was.

I also think of him whenever i am driving and changing lanes to the right. As i check over my shoulder for other cars, i catch a glimpse of the window next to where his car seat usually is. He plastered little stickers all over it and it pretty much looks like crap. I remember back in the Pre-Kid days wondering how parents could stand to let their kids "deface" their cars or furniture with goofy looking stickers! Now i see them and think about how much he concentrated and enjoyed peeling off the stickers and deliberately placing them in each spot. Yes, it looks like a mess but it makes me smile.

Yep, there's ladybug stickers all over my right backseat passenger window. Doesn't bother me a bit! Everything changes...
