i'm about to include some recent photos...
(I was just about to write that my leg looks bad, and give a "Heads Up" to the readers, but it's not that terrible!! It has improved alot, mmmmm-kay?! )
Still, sometimes i have to consult the "Before" pictures to convince myself that it's not so bad.....
People still flinch when they see it now, but if they had only seenEGAD! This was a week after surgery...(note the drain still inserted.)
So, in the spirit of Moving Forward and Focusing on the Positive, here are some pictures of how far i can bend the Knee, as of Sept. 30.
This is straight-legged;
Here it is, in all its Knee-Bunioned-less glory. The swelling has gone down and the scabs are taking over, running the dissolvable stitches off. My leg has been straight since August 16th.
Now don't blink, so's you don't miss it: but here's the Big Bend:
I know it doesn't look like much, but this is before rehab. I've done this, bit by bit, on my own. It still feels weird.
Tomorrow I have an Orientation meeting with the Physical Therapist. We'll see what's in store for the next 10 weeks (3 times a week)....i'll let you know!

I think it looks great. This is one time that it seems appropriate to say "Congratulations on having the bendz!"
the bend of your knee is fabulous but that skirt is more fabulous. :)
nice bending action! it does look better, but mostly because there's no longer a drain in it. looking good!
Lookin' very good! And good luck to you...I went through that knee-bending therapy when I tore my ACL...hours on a stationary bike (blegh), but of course, you will find the good in everything.
